This adapter plate lets you swap out the stock 50mm fan in your Nintendo Gamecube for a standard 40mm x 10mm thick fan. A Noctua 12v fan is recommended for its availability and quiet operation. The plate mounts to the stock GameCube fan frame with the original fan screws, and then you use the standard fan screws that come with the Noctua fan to attach your 40mm fan to the plate. This design has been improved in Fusion 360 with a thicker front plate for more rigidity, a slightly larger fan opening with rounded edges, and better screw hole tolerances. Compatible fan model: Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX 12V 40x10mm 3 pin (Fan not included). Install: 1. Open your GameCube using a Gamebit 4.5mm screwdriver from the base, remove the lid, and find the original fan on the side. 2. Remove 4 screws to release the fan and unplug it. 3. Attach the new fan to this adapter plate using the standard fan screws that come with the fan. 4. Place the new fan in the same position as the original fan and secure it with the old screws. 5. Connect the adapter wire to the fan and the other end to the fan power connector on the power board. 6. Reassemble the console. Noctua Fan not included - Available separately.
