Includes 1x ML2032 3V chargeable battery cell compatible with a battery modded Sega Dreamcast.

Modding is required to install this battery into a Dreamcast console. Do not install directly without first installing a coin battery holder and a diode (in place of the resister) to prevent the battery from being recharged. Once modded, simply push the battery into the holder to restore the clock function.

Once the Dreamcast console has had this battery holder mod done, you will be able to recharge the battery cell for many years to come. When the battery eventually no longer re-charges, the battery holder mod already done allows you to simply replace the ML2032 battery.
